Emerging Technologies Track the Latest Developments in Litigation Technology

1 Hour of CA CLE Credit

With eDiscovery, a whole new set of lit support challenges have arisen -- how can vast quantities of information be winnowed down to a more a manageable amount? How can information be efficiently disseminated to stakeholders? And lastly, how can you take control of escalating costs associated with eDiscovery?

In this session, we'll discuss the advantages of using litigation support technology to take control of eDiscovery and all other evidentiary components, so you can organize and build a winning case. Moreover, we'll update you on how the latest litigation technology by Summation can help you deal with tricky situations, such as:

  • Remotely and selectively sharing case data with experts, co-counsel, and corporate clients.
  • Winnowing and producing documents and vast quantities of electronic files.
  • Accessing case evidence when you're on the road, in a hotel, in a plane, in the courtroom . . .

The seminar will be built around hypothetical discovery scenarios. These scenarios will give a sense of Summation's many "in the trenches" applications. Solutions showcased will include Summation SSE (SQL Server Edition), which unites Summation's popular interface with the power of a SQL backend; and CaseVault, Summation's hosted Internet repository that enables collaborative multi-party/multi-firm document, transcript, case calendar, and events storage and retrieval.
