Summation Releases Web-Based Litigation Software, WebBlaze™
Case critical information in Summation now accessible via a browser.

San Francisco, CA - December 22, 2003 - Summation Legal Technologies, Inc., publisher of America's leading litigation support software, has released a new Web-based litigation software product called WebBlaze. WebBlaze provides quick, convenient access to case information hosted by a law firm. At any time, from anywhere in the world, authorized persons can instantly search and retrieve case transcripts, documents, and notes over the Internet via Microsoft Internet Explorer. Multiple document collections stored in Summation, MS Access, and MS SQL databases are also accessible via the WebBlaze interface.

An attorney or any litigation team member can be up and running on WebBlaze in a matter of minutes - all they need is a Web browser plus a username and password from their firm administrator. Administrators can also set the user permissions, such as limit case information available to an expert witness.

"WebBlaze is an especially exciting addition to our product offerings," said Jon Sigerman, President of Summation Legal Technologies, Inc. and AV-Rated attorney. "WebBlaze and our Windows-based program, Summation iBlaze, provide the litigation team a range of litigation support options that other products simply can't offer. WebBlaze makes it easy and economical to provide an expert witness, co-counsel, and others on the litigation team simple browser access to Summation case information While Summation iBlaze provides Internet access to the same firm-hosted repositories as WebBlaze, iBlaze contains a transportable case information base for those times when an Internet connection is unavailable, such as on an airplane or in a courtroom."

For firms looking for a managed Web-based repository, Summation also offers CaseVault® litigation support hosting service that will host firm documents and transcripts. CaseVault can even be accessed as an adjunct repository via WebBlaze. Other Summation product offerings include Summation's award-winning Windows-based applications Summation Blaze® LG, LG Gold, and iBlaze®. Summation has been identified as the most widely used litigation support software in the Annual AmLaw Tech Survey for the past five (5) years and the LawNet Technology Survey for the past three (3) years.
