Summation
#1 in AmLaw Tech Survey For 3rd Year In A Row!
Results
are in for the 2001 AmLaw Tech Survey of Americas 100
largest law firms and were very happy to announce
that Summation has been named the number one litigation support
software. This is the third consecutive year that Summation
has garnered the AmLaw 100 honor.
Of
the 95 firms that responded to the survey question What
software does the firm use to handle litigation? 64 firms
or 67% of respondents named Summation. Thats
an increase of 10% from last years survey.
Were
very excited to have received this honor for the third year in
a row, said Paul Thompson, General Manager for Summation
Legal Technologies, Inc. This recognition further establishes
Summations leadership position in the litigation support
category. Its interesting to note that our two closest competitors
LiveNote and Microsoft Access dont come close
to offering comprehensive, integrated solutions, as we do. If
the survey were conducted on the basis of total usage (as opposed
to what applications are used at one time or another), I believe
that Summation would have earned an even higher percentage of
respondents.
The
Sixth Annual AmLaw Tech Survey is the lead story in the June 2001
issue of AmLaw Tech, which is published as a supplement to American
Lawyer; it offers many insights into current technology trends
in the legal profession. You can learn more about this issue by
