AWARD-WINNING SOFTWARE

Summation has won every major award in its class three (3) years in a row, including Law Office Computing magazine’s “Readers’ Choice” award for the sixth (6) straight year and the AmLaw 100 (the nation’s 100 top grossing firms) by an even wider margin than last year.

HISTORY OF SUMMATION

Founded in 1988, Summation Legal Technologies, Inc. is the original publisher of integrated litigation support software for the PC. Summation software was designed by two leading litgators for hands-on use by attorneys, along with Summation's third founder, a system engineer. Their goal – to provide attorneys with a more efficient way to globally search, organize, analyze, and build a case. In striving towards this goal, Summation has always adhered to a basic, common sense principle; powerful evidence typically consists of combinations of testimony and documents from disparate sources -- as such, the computer becomes the litigator’s greatest ally when a single program seamlessly searches and ties together testimonial and documentary evidence from disparate sources. Summation software has done just that from its flagship product release in 1988 -- providing transcript and document management tools in one seamlessly integrated, easy-to-use program, crafted exclusively for litigation.

Over the years, Summation has continually improved its software programs based upon the feedback of its founding litigators and Summation users worldwide, currently totaling over 50,000. With its latest product line – Summation Blaze LG - Summation offers even more functionality, including remote access to multiple repositories and different types of databases, improved outlining features, and collaboration tools.

Today, Summation software is regularly used in cases with over a million document pages, including the antitrust action against Microsoft, the nationwide breast implant litigation, and many high-profile employment, securities, antitrust, and toxic tort actions. Plaintiff and defense counsel alike also use it in thousands of smaller cases everyday.
